STEP 4 – Lock your rate
At this point, you can secure your interest rate with a lock agreement to confirm the terms of the loan and rate with your licensed Loan Officer.
STEP 5 – Home inspection and appraisal
A Home inspection is well worth the investment to check for structural issues and insure that appliances are in working order. Any major issues will need to be addressed prior to the close of escrow. We’ll order the appraisal to determine the value of what you are paying is worth the price tag.
STEP 6 – Your Loan is approved and funded
Your Real Estate Agent or the Seller may help you select an Escrow/Title Company to handle the funding of your loan, along with many other factors which make your home purchase go smoothly. We will coordinate with the escrow team and you’ll sign the final papers at their office.
